Established with a vision for nurturing education, Ashley Jade is committed to accessible and engaging learning, collaborating with local councils, Career Connect, and secondary schools within the Sefton and Liverpool region.
Our alternative provision programmes are specifically designed for young people with social, emotional and mental health needs who face challenges in mainstream education settings, or are currently home educated. We work closely with high schools in Sefton, Liverpool and Lancashire to offer a supportive and structured environment where students can achieve vocational qualifications while re-engaging with their education.

Hair, Make-up, Nails & Beauty

Hair, Beauty, Nails & Makeup (including Special Effects and Theatrical Makeup)
We offer entry level 3 to level 2 open awards and VTCT qualifications. Our diverse and creative programs offer comprehensive training across the hair, beauty, nails, and makeup industries. Students will develop both basic and advanced techniques, from everyday styling and skincare to intricate nail art, professional hairdressing, and high-definition makeup application. All our courses also include specialist training in special effects and theatrical makeup, preparing learners for careers in fashion, film, TV, stage, and salon environments.

Sports & Fitness

Sport and Fitness open awards entry 3 and level 1 course is designed to promote physical wellbeing and personal growth through a holistic approach to health and exercise.
Students will explore key topics such as health and fitness, stress management, personal development, and healthy eating. The course combines engaging theory with practical sessions in our fully equipped on-site gym, giving learners hands-on experience in physical training and exercise planning. Throughout the program, students will develop valuable skills in goal setting, self-motivation, and maintaining a balanced lifestyle—laying the groundwork for careers in the fitness industry or simply leading healthier, more active lives.

Functional Skills

We offer Functional Skills qualifications in both Maths and English, designed to help learners develop essential, real-world skills that are relevant to everyday life, work, and further study. These courses are suitable for those who need to improve their core skills or do not yet hold a GCSE Grade 4/C or above. Learners will build confidence in key areas such as reading, writing, communication, number operations and problem-solving. The content is practical, engaging, and tailored to individual needs and learning styles. Each course leads to a nationally recognised qualification, and learners will be required to sit formal exams at the appropriate level (Entry Level to Level 2). Our supportive teaching approach helps ensure students are fully prepared for their assessments and future progression.

Enrichment

Enrichment Programme Our enrichment programme is embedded throughout every qualification and course we offer, ensuring that all learners receive a well-rounded and supportive educational experience. Enrichment sessions cover a wide range of important topics that promote personal development, safety, and positive life choices.
